Info Grove 4.0 is now live and comes with a heap of new features and enhancements! We’ve been working hard to enhance the experience of the CMS to make the management of your apps easier and to streamline the entire management process. This post will summarize some of the new aspects of Info Grove 4.0.

  1. IMPROVED CMS UI

The user interface has been updated to provide improved support for managing multi-language apps as well as to show content for synchronized views such as Schedule Sync and RSS feeds. The management of menus across subentities has also been streamlined.

  1. BETA MODULES

Info Grove modules can now be added directly to the app in beta mode for testing by the administrators. Modules in beta mode are not visible to other app users.

  1. PUSH FROM MOBILE

There is now support for push notifications to be sent from within the mobile app. This feature allows the CMS administrators to send push notifications directly from their apps wherever they are.

  1. BASIC ANALYTICS IN CMS

The content management system now provides statistics on the app users. The number of active app users can be seen for each language or each entity.

  1. TITLES IN PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

Push notifications now support an editable title that will allow clearer messaging, better communication and end user engagement.

  1. NEW ENHANCED FORMS FIELDS

One of the most used modules in Info Grove has just gotten better with the newly added fields. The Enhanced Forms module can now support date and time fields within a form. In addition, the new Header field allows for the creation of different sections within a form.

  1. MODULE LINK ENHANCEMENTS

The new enhancements to the module link expand on the number of modules that can be interlinked.

  1. LOCATION LINK SCHEDULING

Scheduled location links can now be created within Info Grove. The scheduling allows for location or beacon based actions/content to be available from a start to an end date and time.

  1. LANGUAGE SUPPORT FOR FOOTERS

Info Grove Footer module can now support different footers to be displayed for the different languages.

  1. CHANGING ICON COLOR FOR MENU

Menu Icon colours can be changed by the content administrator providing more flexibility in customization and branding.

  1. GENERIC APP SUPPORT

Info Grove 4.0 now supports the creation of industry-based shared apps. This new capability allows for smaller organizations to share one industry-themed app while maintaining separate content for each organization.

Info Grove 4.0 also includes a ton of other minor improvements. Over the next few weeks, your app will be updated to version 4.0; however, if you have an urgent need for one of the new features, contact us at support@info-grove.com and we can look to expedite the update.

Note:

If you haven’t done it since September, if you could please take a few minutes later this week to go approve the new agreement in the Apple Developer Portal (https://developer.apple.com), that would be much appreciated and will allow us to upgrade your app without further delays.
