The League of Wisconsin Municipalities (The League) was created on December 14th, 1898 to help Wisconsin cities and villages share ideas and learn from one another, to train and provide information to the people elected and appointed to govern those cities and villages, and to advocate on their behalf with the Wisconsin Legislature, Governor and state agencies.
Prior to this year, the League was using another vendor to power their conferencing mobile app; however, their costs were prohibitive and prevented them from using the app for some of the smaller events that the League runs on an ongoing basis. Furthermore, the League was looking to better engage their members outside of these events and connected with the team at Info Grove for some help.
The team at Info Grove worked closely with the marketing department at the league and defined the features that would help them provide information for their conferences as well as help them connect with members year round. After a few weeks of discussions, development, review, and testing the WI Municipal League Connect app was ready to be launched.
The new WI Municipal League Connect app was launched and now helps the League engage members with features such as:
- League related news
- Calendar of events
- Conference Information such as schedules, list of speakers, venues, sponsors, registration, and resources.
- Important legislative and legal documents
- Classifieds
- and so much more.
As with all other Info Grove powered apps, the app is available for iOS and Android devices and can be downloaded here:
If your organization is interested in using an app to engage your members and provide valuable information for your conferences, contact us, we would be happy to show how Info Grove can help!
