The Iowa Turkey Federation (ITF) is a prominent trade association dedicated to representing and advancing the interests of Iowa’s turkey industry. Established to support the state’s turkey producers, the ITF serves as a valuable resource for those involved in turkey farming, processing, and related sectors. Iowa is one of the nation’s top producers of turkey, and the ITF plays a crucial role in ensuring the industry’s growth, sustainability, and competitiveness in both national and global markets.

ITF approached the Info Grove team in late 2024 looking for an app to help with membership engagement including the ability to communicate with members via members forums and the ability to provide them with a member’s directory. One extra caveat is that ITF were looking to deploy their app in time for their December annual general meeting which was less than 4 weeks away. 

Without missing a beat, the Info Grove team worked with the ITF stakeholders to identify the required features as well as the branding options for the app (part of our standard setup program). The team then quickly set some goals and milestones and proceeded with the development. Within 20 days, the app was submitted to the respective app stores and went live just in time for their annual conference.

Through the Turkey Connect app members can stay up to date on union news, events, podcasts, negotiations, and connect with the ITF team. Members can also use the app to:

  • View a Member’s Directory.
  • See Market Price Reports.
  • Access Farmer’s Toolbox
  • and much more!

The ITF staff can now update the app content as well as add features using the Info Grove CMS with ease.

The app is free and is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
